Rush et al to W. C. Bowles, 17 Feb 1914
This indenture made this 17 day of Feby 1914 between Ben Rush, J. D. Bowles, M. F. Bowles, L. C. Love, Delia Bowles, Bettie Hord party of the first part and W. C. Bowles party of the second part, all of Metcalfe County, state of Kentucky. Witnesseth that for and in consideration of the sum of two dollars paid in hand the receipt of which is fully acknowledged the party of the first part has this day bargained and sold and hereby transfered and conveyed unto the party of the second part their undivided interest (one seventh) of the following described tract of land lying in Metcalfe County Kentucky on the waters of Glover Creek bounded as follows: Beginning at a stone Nancy Page's corner thence N 73 poles to a stone thence N 55 W 98 poles to 2 sweet gums, thence with an old line S 27 3/4 W 174 poles to a beech G. B. Lee's corner, with his line S 87 E 72 poles to a stone, N 80 E 108 to the beginning being one hundred & one acres more or less; the party of the first part agrees to warrent and defend the title to the above land to be clear and free from the claims of any and all persons unto the party of the second part to have and to hold the same forever.
