Benjamin Franklin Wilhoite: Ancestry and Descendants

Benjamin Franklin Wilhoite was a son of Jeremiah Wilhoit and Susanna Yager according to The Germanna Record, Number 13, published by the Memorial Foundation of the Germanna Colonies in Virginia [2nd printing, 1982; see page 87].

The same booklet identifies Jeremiah Wilhoit as a son of Michael Wilhoite and Elizabeth Cristler (see pages 61-2); Michael Wilhoite was a son of Adam Wilhoit and Catherine Broyles (page 51); and Adam Wilhoit as a son of Michael Wilheit, the immigrant [page 49].

[2] Jack Willhoit's World War I registration card gives his birth as 6 Sep 1881 (see below); the Kentucky Death Index gives his death as 23 Jan 1968 in Carroll County at the age of 89; and the Social Security Death Index gives his birthdate as 6 Sep 1878. Finally, beyond this link I've found no specific evidence tying Jack to James Benjamin Wilhoite.
